The Henderson County School Board met in regular session on Thursday evening, January 13, 2022.

Director of Schools Steve Wilkinson reported that he would like to look into having emergency generators installed in all nine schools. During the recent extended power outage, temperatures in the coolers raise above recommended safety levels and food had to be removed. Some of those food costs will be covered by insurance. The board authorized Mr. Wilkinson to move forward.
