Michael W. Smith, age 45 of Lexington, was arrested on Friday, December 3, 2021, on one count of child abuse and neglect.
According to the court documents, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department, along with staff from the Department of Children’s Services, investigated the home at 3:29 p.m. on December 3rd, on allegations of educational neglect, environmental neglect, drug exposure, and lack of supervision.
