Lexington Falls in Close Game Against Henry County

On Tuesday, December 7, 2021, the Lexington High School Tigers hit the road to head into Paris, Tennessee and face off against Henry County. Lexington knew they would have to play tough and hard against the Patriots to come away with a win. Unfortunately, at the end of the game when the final buzzer sounded, it would be Henry County who squeaked by and grabbed the win over Lexington. The final score of the contest was 56-51.
The Tigers would score eight points in the opening quarter and held Henry County to only scoring two points. In the second quarter of action, Lexington scored nine more points before the break. Henry County had a big quarter and posted 23 points before intermission. After halftime, the Tigers had their best quarter of the game by scoring 18 points.
