SH Lady Lions Win Big Over Carroll Academy

On Monday evening, December 29, the Scotts Hill Lady Lions welcomed Carroll Academy to their home court. Scotts Hill has been on a recent winning streak and the Lady Lions looked to add to the recent success the program has been having. The Lady Lions team proved to be way too much for Carroll Academy as Scotts Hill rolled to a large victory. The final score of the contest was 60-15.

Leading the way in scoring for the Lady Lions was Brooklyn Wilkerson who recorded 16 points in the win. Kaylin Wade followed suit with ten points of her own and Anna Hopper recorded eight points for Scotts Hill. Both Lacie Dunavant and Jordan Hampton each scored six points against Carroll Academy. Jaden Scates would add five points and Lana Wulfert finished with four points of her own. Julie Hampton recorded three points and Mallory Puckett rounded out the scoring by securing two points in the win.

The Lady Lions opened the game by scoring 21 points in the first quarter and held the Lady Jags scoreless in the opening quarter. Scotts Hill would match the first quarter points by netting another 21 points in the second quarter as well. Carrol Academy scored four points in the second quarter to get on the scoreboard before halftime. The score at halftime was 42-4, in favor of the Lady Lions.
