LHS Lady Tigers Lose Back to Back Games

Coming off a loss against South Gibson last Tuesday, November 23, the Lady Tigers basketball team was hoping to get back in the win column as they played in the Thanksgiving Classic, which was held in Gibson County. Lexington would take on Sikeston, Missouri this past Friday, November 26. The Lady Tigers weren’t able to come away with the win they had hoped for and fell to Sikeston by a final score of 47-31.

The Lady Tigers offense was not at its best in this game. Lexington scored eight points in the first quarter and allowed Sikeston to score four points in the opening quarter. The Lady Tigers were outscored by ten points in the second quarter as the team only scored three points while allowing their opponent to score 13 points.
