Ethan Small, a former player for Lexington High School baseball, is now a member of the Milwaukee Brewers organization and he added yet another accomplishment to his already well distinguished resume as an up and comer in major league baseball.
Small was recently named the Milwaukee Brewers Minor League Pitcher of the Year, by the organization. Ethan had a 1.98 ERA over 77 1/3 innings for the organization in the minor league this year. He struck out 92 batters across Double A and Triple A ball. Small was a 2019 first round pick by the Milwaukee Brewers.
He was a dominant force across both levels of minor league ball this year and as Tom Flanagan, Farm Director for the Brewers organization, said, “Ethan separated himself from a number of quality candidates to stake claim to his award”.
