Last Tuesday night, September 28, 2021, the Henderson County North 6th graders played against Chester County’s 6th graders in a game. Henderson County North got the ball first and Chester County held them. HCN did the same to Chester County and it looked as if HCN’s next drive would be the same until Webb White hit Rocky Thompson on a 31-yard pass to set the Tigers up in scoring position. Joseph Pritchard took the ball in from the 4-yard line to make the score 6-0. White would then connect with Pritchard on the two-point conversion for two more points and made the score 8-0.

The strong HCN defense would hold the Eagles again. The offense would take over on the 50-yard line and after a few strong runs, Webb White hit the tight end, Aviance Huddleston, for a 30-yard touchdown pass. White would then connect with Pritchard for another successful two-point conversion and the score would be 16-0, in favor of the Tigers. Another big stop by the Tigers’ defense gave HCN the ball again. This time, the Tigers would strike hard on the ground by mixing runs from Huddleston, Pritchard, and Akeem Cox. Pritchard found pay dirt again, this time from 6 yards out, after a 27-yard run by Huddleston. The conversion would ultimately fail and the HCN Tigers led 22-0.

Henderson County North Tigers held again on defense and the offense wasted no time as White found Huddleston for a 42-yard touchdown strike. Cox took the ball in for the two-point conversion to make the score…
