A Fall Bass Fishing Workshop was held at the pavilion area at Beech Lake on Saturday, October 2, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. by the Tennessee Wildlife Federation.
Instructors Richard Kee and Chris Herndon conducted the session on Bass biology and behavior, knot tying, casting multiple types of reels, and lure selections. There were also several opportunities for questions and answers and interaction with the participants, who aged from twelve years up to older adults.
BRWDA Director Keith Wish was on hand with lunch and refreshments and said that the workshop was a great opportunity to get the basics for beginners and some advanced techniques for those who have been long time enthusiasts.
