With their season rolling with wins, the Lady Tigers volleyball team kept the pace going last Tuesday evening, September 21, with an impressive district win over the Chester County Lady Eagles. Lexington put on a very good team effort display in securing the victory. The Lady Tigers won in three straight sets, 25-16, 25-12, and 25-18.
Team leaders in kills on the night were Ellie Smith with 20, Callie McDonald with 15, Preslee Doner recorded five and Morgan Sanders finished with two. The leader in assists on the night was Kylie Atchison. She would record 40 assists against Chester County.
A duo of Lady Tiger players led the way in aces. Callie McDonald and Ellie Smith had two each. Kylie Atchison, Emmy Corbitt, and Riley Owens recorded one apiece.
As for blocks against the Lady Eagles, Smith and Atchison each had three. Preslee Doner would record two and Mykenzie Duke finished with…
