Scotts Hill Split Games at West Carroll Tournament

The Lady Lions made their way to West Carroll on August 21, 2021, to compete in the annual West Carroll Volleyball Tournament. Scotts Hill would find success on the road as they secured two wins in tournament play. The Lady Lions would also suffer two losses in the tournament as well. Scotts Hill secured wins over Hickman County and South Gibson and took losses to Covington and Dyersburg.

In the first match of play against Covington, the Lady Lions lost in two sets, 18-25 and 13-25. Heather Bartholomew would record two solo blocks and Ava Blankenship finished with seven digs. Bracyn Sullivan and Jaden Scates each recorded three assists for Scotts Hill, and Scates finished with four kills, as well.

The second match saw Scotts Hill take down Hickman County for the win. The Lady Lions won in two sets, 25-14 and 25-16. Jaden Scates would record four aces in the win. Mallory Puckett had one solo block and Ava Blankenship recorded four digs. Jaden Scates had four assists in the win. Puckett finished with four kills and Brawley recorded three kills, as well.

Their third match of the tournament saw the Lady Lions earn a win over Gibson County. Scotts Hill would win in three sets, 22-25, 25-20, and 15-12. Leading the way for the Lady Lions was…
