Lady Lions Volleyball Defeated by Lexington; Take Win Over Humboldt

A date that always is circled on the calendar each year, the Scotts Hill Lady Lions had their in-county rival come to town on August 23, 2021. The Lady Lions welcomed the Lady Tigers from Lexington to Scotts Hill’s gym to see which team would claim bragging rights for Henderson County. Scotts Hill ultimately would fall to the Lady Tigers in three straight sets, 12-25, 7-25, and 12-25.
Abby Nichols finished with one ace for Scotts Hill against the Lady Tigers. Bracyn Sullivan had six assists and three Lady Lions finished with two kills each. Those players were Addy Cook, Mallory Puckett, and Heather Bartholomew. Puckett also recorded four solo blocks in the match. Ava Blakenship finished with seven digs, also.
On Tuesday, August 31, 2021, the Lady Lions would also welcome McNairy to their home court. After giving a valiant effort, Scotts Hill would lose in three sets to the Lady Bobcats, 16-25, 15-25, and 10-25.
