Henderson County North Defeats Rose Hill Middle

The Henderson County North Tigers traveled to Rose Hill Middle School in Jackson on Saturday, August 14, 2021, to play the Raiders. The Raiders got the ball first, but the Tigers from Henderson County would shut them down on three straight plays. On the first play from scrimmage for the Tigers, Jayden Fry broke a long run to score the game’s first points. Ross McDaniel found Russell Wilson in the end zone to make it a 8-0 game.

Henderson County would cause a turnover on the next possession and strike quickly again as McDaniel hit Cameren Gorden with a pass around midfield and Gorden would outrun the competition to the end zone. The conversion attempt was no good, but the Tigers would have a 14-0 lead. After another caused turnover, the Tigers struck quickly again on offense. This time McDaniel hit Ashad Seats in stride to score the games third touchdown. On the conversion, McDaniel would keep and score, making the score 22-0, in favor of the Tigers.
