Henderson County Leadership Class History Tour

The Henderson County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class of 2020 resumed their class activities on Thursday, July 22, 2021.

The Henderson County Chamber of Commerce picked back up the Leadership 2020 Class, which had been interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The class included Keith Wallace (City of Lexington), Derrick Stingley (Boy Scouts), Matt Lofton (Community Bank), Lauren McBride (Simmons Bank), Loren Stanford (UT Extension), Ryan Hart (Manpower), Donnie Barber (Good News Worship Center), Misty Denley (First Bank) & Michael McCormick (Farm Bureau).

On Thursday, July 22, 2021, the class met at the gazebo on court square in Lexington for its History Day Tour, and were greeted by Henderson County Mayor Eddie Bray. Chamber Director Melissa Gilbert said that the group went on a walking tour of the historical spots in Lexington, led by Henderson County Historian and Community Bank President / CEO Phillip Renfroe.
