Lexington’s 8U Girls’ Softball Crowned World Series Champions

The Lexington 8U Girls’ Softball All-Star team played in the FASA World Series Tournament in Pascagoula, Mississippi on July 7th through 11th. The team overcame difficult situations, such as hot and wet conditions, to defeat Texas’ Carthage Elite All-Stars in the championship game. This win awarded the team the opportunity to be crowned the 2021 FASA World Series Champions.

Their impressive journey to become world series champions included fourteen wins, two losses, and one tie. The team members pictured are: Front Row (L-R) Vada House, Maggie Lewis, Kinley Tart, Ali Patterson, Chesney Kizer, and Chloe Brown.
