6U Lexington Softball Girls’ All-Star Team Places Third

The 6U Lexington Girls’ Softball All-Star team took home Third Place in FASA World Series Tournament in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

In traveling down south, to Pascagoula, Mississippi, the City of Lexington was represented by a couple of teams that were eager to play the sport they love and highlight their competitiveness in a way that the whole community would be proud of them. The Lexington 6U Girls’ All-Star team did just that.
Playing last week, from July 7th through the 11th, these girls played some really great and amazing softball in the FASA World Series tournament. The friendships that were formed, along with the many amazing memories, just added to the excitement the girls experienced. This was the first time as a team that these all-stars had played together as a whole. The big accomplishment that the team achieved was a 3rd Place finish in the tournament. That is something that everyone should be proud of in them achieving that feat.
Each girl on the team grew so much in the game along the season and into the postseason tournaments. This should attest to the coaches who gave their time and dedication in making sure that all team members were put in a position to…
