County Commission Meets in Special Called Session

The Henderson County Commission met in a special called session on Monday evening, June 21, 2021, at the Criminal Justice Complex. Crystal Jo Rogers and Riley Bobbitt were approved as a Notary Public and there were no transfers for approval.

The FY 2021/2022 Henderson County budget was approved with no change in the $2.1806 per $100.00 property tax or the $0.19 cent fire district tax. It also included the CTAS state mandated county official cost of living raises at 2%. Although there were no county employee raises in the budgets, the commission is looking to use the one-time federal funding.
