The Scotts Hill Lions football team has been hard at it the past few weeks. This team is braving the hot summer sun, just like many teams across west Tennessee are doing at this time of the year. With the humidity setting in and the hot summer months amongst us, conditions can be difficult for players. Not to mention, the unpredictable weather that we experience this way. Safety is the first and foremost concern of the coaching staff and they do everything in their power to keep the players safe as they begin to condition them into football shape for the upcoming season ahead.

He would go on to tell that the summer workouts are going great for the team and that his players are absolutely working hard each and every day they are on the field. Players even put in work outside of being with the coaching staff as well.
His coaching staff has the Lions football team working in the summer program four days a week. They are getting time in and grinding hard to do what’s asked of them and become better athletes and teammates in the process.
