The Support Committee for the Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery- Parkers Crossroads, met in the chapel on Thursday, June 3, 2021, for a brief meeting. Chaplain Spurgeon Smith opened the meeting with the invocation, with Chairman James Lindsey leading the Pledge of Allegiance.

Lindsey said that he was very pleased with the Memorial Day event that was held on Friday, May 28th, and that the success was due to the hard work of the committee and the other support groups, such as the Veterans Honor Guard of Parkers Crossroads, American Legion Post #286, Parkers Crossroads, the Scouts, and…
