The heat and humidity on Thursday, May 27, 2021 didn’t slow the volunteers or dim their spirits for the Summer Food Distribution events at Sand Ridge Baptist Church and Lexington High School.
The food was packed into boxes with several individual meals and distributed for the benefit of children in Henderson County. The event was hosted by the Second Harvest Food Bank and Henderson County Coordinated School Health.
