The special guest speaker for the May 11, 2021 Lexington Rotary Club was pharmacist Sammy Pace. He is the owner/operator of Pace Pac, a program offered by Professional Arts Pharmacy.
Pace Pac is a program devised about a year ago during the COVID-19 pandemic to help people who were at greater risk. It is a compliance package program that arranges medicine by date, time, and day for easy use and they also have an immunity pack. Packaging is convenient, in portable packets, which are labeled with the date and time that they should be taken.
Pace Pac is available from Jones Pharmacy, Lexington Discount Drugs, Professional Arts Pharmacy, Scotts Hill Discount Drugs, and Cornerstone Pharmacy. The contact number to sign up is 731-798-5047.
The idea comes from a European model and eliminates having to have multiple bottles for multiple medicines and facilitates daily planning for the medication.
