Scotts Hill Makes Quick Work Out of North Side

The Scotts Hill Softball team hosted the North Side Lady Indians last Tuesday night, April 20, 2021. This was a lopsided victory for the Lady Lions as they steamrolled North Side that evening. Scotts Hill only allowed one hit for the Lady Indians on their way to a big win. In the end, Scotts Hill would take the comfortable win, 16-0.

In this shortened game, the Lady Lions would score six runs in both the first and second innings. Then in the third and fourth innings, the Lady Lions would plate two runs in each inning on their way to their second consecutive victory in as many days.

As a team, the Lady Lions racked up 12 hits on the night. Both Lillian Richardson and Journey Knowles would lead the way going 2 for 2 at the plate. Knowles hit a single, a double, and collected an RBI. Richardson recorded two singles in the game for the Lady Lions. Madison Wood was 1 for 1 in the game. She reached safely on a single and…
