Lady Tigers Defeat Riverside and South Side in Blowout Wins

The Lady Tigers softball team keep on collecting wins as their season continues on and inches closer towards postseason play. Lexington would face off against Riverside and South Side last week in games that saw the Lady Tigers put up big numbers. LHS took on Riverside on Monday, April 5, and then faced off against South Side on Thursday April 8, 2021. The results for Lexington were the same, big wins in both contests for the Lady Tigers.
On Monday, Lexington had traveled to Riverside to take on the Lady Panthers. Lexington wasted no time in taking the lead early in the game. The Lady Tigers scored three runs in the top of the first inning to start the game. As the game progressed, the Lady Panthers settled in and did not allow Lexington to score any runs from the second inning through the fourth inning.
