The Tennessee state points race for the Academy Sports + Outdoors 2020-2021 BASS Nation season is heating up with Scotts Hill Student Anglers team Chandler Pruett and Braden Wilson taking the lead. This past weekend, Pruett and Wilson traveled to Middle TN for the fifth stop of the BASS Nation State Points Trail, on Tim’s Ford Lake.

These tough competitors never let weather or conditions stop them from giving their all. Pruett and Wilson had never been on this lake but managed to stay in the grind and bring in four fish for a total weight of 11.73 pounds, allowing them to capture a 4th place finish for the tournament. Their finish was enough to move them into the lead of the points race with only two tournaments left in the season. The next stop is scheduled for April 17th, on Pickwick Lake. Keep those lines tight and hooks sharp.
