Passing Motorist Discovers Burning House
A residential fire on Mullins Road was reported on March 25, 2021 by a motorist who driving by the residence at the time of the fire.

At 3:51 p.m. Thursday afternoon, March 25, 2021, the Henderson County 9-1-1 Center received a call from a motorist reporting smoke and fire coming from a house on Mullins Road off Hwy. 22A.
Stations 6, 7, and 11 were dispatched to the fire. A quick response and action taken by the driver of the first arriving truck allowed the fire to be controlled until additional firefighters arrived to make entry. As a result, most of the home was saved. It was determined the cause of the fire was…
