Scotts Hill Softball Takes Loss Against Camden

Last Thursday, the Lady Lions faced off against Camden High School. Scotts Hill was looking to get into the win column with this game, as they hadn’t been able to secure a victory to start the season. The Lady Lions gave a valiant effort in their outing, but Camden was too much to handle. Camden came away with a 9-2 win.
This game, along with the South Side game, was a pool play game which is part of the Sara Beth Whitehead Tournament that is being played throughout the weekend.
The Scotts Hill Lady Lions got on the scoreboard first as they plated one run in the bottom of the first inning. Scotts Hill would allow Camden to score five runs in the top of the second inning and one run in the top of the third inning before scoring their second run in the bottom of the third inning.
