Monday morning, March 8, 2021, the Henderson County Fire Department responded to a backyard grass fire in the 1400 block of McBride Cemetery Road, near Sardis. Later that night, Fire Stations 6, 7, and 9 responded to a fully engulfed mobile home fire in the 800 block of Laster Road near the old Stegall Community.
