SH Lady Lions Victorious Against Chester County

Last Thursday night, the Scotts Hill High School Lady Lions basketball team welcomed the Chester County Lady Eagles to Chandler Gymnasium. Scotts Hill was looking to get back in the win column against the Lady Eagles. The Lady Lions stuck to their game plan and it brought them success on the night as they defeated Chester County by a score of 66-53.
The top scorer for the Lady Lions on the night was Blaize Deere as she scored 26 points in the contest. Following her was Journey Knowles who netted 17 points. Harley Bowman added 10 points and Bradie Ivey scored 5 points in the game. Both Heather Bartholomew and Ashlyn Buffaloe would each score 4 points for Scotts Hill.
Starting the game, the Lady Lions scored 17 points in the first quarter and then added another 13 points in the second quarter. At halftime, Scotts Hill led 30-24. After the half, the Lady Lions scored 19 points in the third quarter and another 17 points in the fourth quarter to take the win over Chester County.
