Lexington Takes Loss Against Chester County

The Lady Tigers basketball team was back on the court last Friday night. Lexington had made their way to Henderson to take on the Lady Eagles of Chester County. After coming off a win in their last game, the Lady Tigers were looking to keep up the success on the night. In the end, it was Chester County who would come away with the win. Lexington was defeated, 57-46.
Lexington’s top scorer was Diamond Holland, who netted 14 points for the Lady Tigers. Sarah Simmons would score 7 points in the game. Both Emmy Corbitt and Makayla Herndon would each score 6 points. Candace Butler and Kylie Waldrep both scored 2 points for Lexington. Jadyn Yarbro rounded out the scoring with one point in the game.
Lexington would start the game by scoring 9 points in the first quarter and then added another 11 points in the second quarter before going into halftime. Coming out in the third quarter, the Lady Tigers would…
