Lady Lions Can’t Keep Up with South Side

Scotts Hill High School welcomed a powerful team to its court on Monday, February 1 as the Lady Hawks of South Side High School made the visit. The Lady Lions have matched up well with South Side this year and have played them tough in their meetings. The Lady Lions would end up on the losing end in this matchup as South Side defeated Scotts Hill, 61-52.
Scotts Hill started the game by scoring 7 points in the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Lady Lions would score 20 points. The score at halftime was 27-34, in favor of the Lady Hawks. In the third quarter, Scotts Hill scored 11 more points and then added 14 points in the fourth quarter in their defeat.
Leading the way in scoring for Scotts Hill on the night was Blaize Deere. Deere would score 23 points in the game.
