Lady Lions Bounce Back With Win Over Riverside

Coming off their loss to the Lady Hawks from South Side High School, the Lady Lions wanted to get back in the win column. Their next opponent was the Riverside Lady Panthers. On Friday night, January 29, Scotts Hill traveled to their home court to face them. The Lady Lions would prove to be too much for Riverside and defeated the Lady Panther, 60-38.

In another dominant performance by the Lady Lions players, it was Blaize Deere who led the pack in scoring on the night. Deere collected 17 points in the win. Harley Bowman was able to follow closely and scored 13 points of her own. Ashlyn Buffaloe would score 9 points in the game and Heather Bartholomew would connect for 5 points. Bradie Ivey accounted for 5 points for Scotts Hill. There were five Lady Lions players who made two points in the contest. Those players were Kaylin Wade, Brooklyn Wilkerson, Journey Knowles, Deanna Pusser, and Jaden Scates. That would round out the scoring for Scotts Hill on the night.

The first quarter saw the Lady Lions add 16 points to the scoreboard. In the second quarter, the Lady Lions were able to score 12 more points. They would lead the Lady Panthers at halftime, 28-12. In the third quarter…
