Lexington City Board Holds Work Session

The Mayor and Board of Aldermen for Lexington met for their monthly work session on Tuesday evening, November 17, 2020 at the Lexington Utilities Operations Facility on Maple Street.
In the mayor’s opening statement, he mentioned that COVID-19 cases have been on the rise and that it has been a tragic year for many people. The first item on the agenda was discussion of the city employee succession plan. The mayor said that he would be meeting with each of the department heads on this item and also review for any deficiencies that may need to be addressed.
