Local Schools Receive Grants from TVA, LES
STEM grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 were recently awarded for programs in Bargerton, Caywood, South Haven, and Lexington Middle School to enhance science, technology, engineering, and math education in schools.

Four local schools were awarded a “Big Check” on Thursday, April 25th, as the Tennessee Valley Authority and Lexington Electric System made the official presentation of the 2024 STEM grants. Decatur County Middle School was also awarded a grant.
