County School Board Meets Monday, June 24th

A Henderson County Board of Education has set a called meeting for Monday, June 24th, at 5:00 p.m. after having to reschedule a planned meeting for June 20th.
The special session was originally set for Thursday, June 20th, however the board did not meet the necessary 48-hour notice of making the meeting agenda available as required under Tennessee state law. Officials have postponed the meeting in order to comply with the law.
Henderson County finance director Megan Vineyard is requesting the board to approve 2023-24 budget transfers prior to the end of the fiscal year and the county commission is meeting on Monday night, at 7:00 p.m.
