The Scotts Hill Student Anglers kicked off their official 2021-2022 season with the first stop coming at Pickwick Lake, this past weekend. This was a state and regional tournament combined with 206 boats in the high school division and 77 in the junior high division.

It was a tough day on the water for all of the anglers. Scotts Hill Student Anglers team JD Stack and Eli Blankenship managed to grind out four fish, finishing in 21st Place, in the high school division which earned the two anglers a scholarship check. Tanner Eason and Cash Williams stayed with it and came in 11th Place for the junior division. The next stop for the West Tennessee Bass trail will be October 23, 2021, at Paris Landing.
