Lady Tigers Fall to Chester County

The Lexington High School Lady Tigers basketball team welcomed the Lady Eagles of Chester County to their home court on Tuesday, January 12. In their first home game in quite some time, the Lady Tigers were looking to get back in the win column on the night. A tough Chester County team would make things hard on Lexington and the Lady Tigers ultimately fell by a score of 66-48.
The leading scorer for Lexington was Jadyn Yarbro. Yarbro would score 12 points, while connecting on three 3-pointers in the game. She also went one for one from the charity stripe. Following her in scoring were two Lady Tiger teammates. Makayla Herndon and Sarah Simmons would each collect 9 points during the game. Simmons would also be perfect from the free-throw line, as she went 4 for 4. Candace Butler would score 6 points for Lexington against the Lady Eagles. She went two for three from the foul line also. Diamond Holland and Kylie Waldrep would each score 5 points and Emmy Corbitt rounded out the scoring for Lexington in the game by accounting for 2 points. Both of her points came from…
