Lexington Upended By Lady Bobcats

After coming off an outstanding performance and easy victory earlier last week, the Lady Tigers made their way to McNairy County High School on Friday, January 8. The Lady Bobcats would put up more of a fight against Lexington and the Lady Tigers would try and claw their way out of the challenge. In the end, Lexington would be defeated by McNairy County with a final score of 56-50.
Lexington started off the game by scoring only two points in the opening quarter. They weren’t able to get much going in the first half, as they scored only 6 points in the second quarter. After making halftime adjustments, the Lady Tigers were able to have success in the second half. Lexington scored 25 points in the third quarter. This was their best quarter of the entire game. In the fourth quarter, the Lady Tigers were able to score 17 points, but it just wasn’t enough to be able to secure a win in the game.
Jadyn Yarbro would lead the Lady Tigers in scoring again with 13 points against the Lady Bobcats. Diamond Holland and Sarah Simmons would each score 12 points in the contest. Candace Butler accounted for 9 points in the game, as well. Two Lady Tigers would both score…
