Lady Lions Fall Short Against Chester County

On Friday night, January 8, the Lady Lions travelled down the road into Henderson, Tennessee to face off against the Lady Eagles of Chester County. Hoping to continue their recent success, Scotts Hill was in for a bit of a fight that night. The Lady Lions weren’t able to find a way to come out on top in this match-up and ultimately fell by a score of 60-46.
Leading the way in scoring for the Lady Lions was Blaize Deere. Deere would score 19 points in the game and would connect on two 3-pointers in the contest. Following her was Ashlyn Buffaloe who scored 16 points. Buffaloe would have three 3-point shots that were successful on the night, also. Harley Bowman scored 7 points for Scotts Hill and Heather Bartholomew would net 3 points in the contest. Rounding out the scoring for the Lady Lions was Bradie Ivey. Ivey would score one point in the game.
The Lady Lions would score 13 points in each of the first two quarters. Scotts Hill would trail at halftime by a score of 31-26 to the Lady Eagles. Going in to the third quarter, Scotts Hill knew it would need to start off hot to mount a comeback. The Lady Lions couldn’t seem to get things going and…
