County Schools to Open on Staggered Schedule

Henderson County Director of Schools, Steve Wilkinson, recently announced the staggering of schedules for Henderson County Schools from January 6, 2021 through January 15, 2021.

Henderson County Schools will be on an alternating schedule for students for the first two weeks of January. With the number of COVID-19 cases in our county and with Governor Lee’s Executive Order #70 in place, on Tuesday, January 5 students’ last names starting with A-K for all grades will report to school. On Wednesday, January 6 students’ last names starting with L-Z for all grades will report to school. This alternating schedule will go through January 15, 2021.
• Tuesday, Jan. 5th: All grades – Last names starting with A-K
• Wednesday, Jan. 6th: All grades – Last names starting with L-Z
• Thursday, Jan. 7th: All grades – Last names starting with A-K
• Friday, Jan. 8th: All grades – Last names starting with L-Z
• Monday, Jan. 11th: All grades – Last names starting with A-K
• Tuesday, Jan. 12th: All grades – Last names starting with L-Z
• Wednesday, Jan. 13th: All grades – Last names starting with A-K
• Thursday, Jan. 14th: All grades – Last names starting with L-Z
• Friday, Jan. 15th: All grades – Last names starting with A-K
