McNairy Hands Lions Second Straight Loss

On the road again, Scotts Hill faced off against McNairy Central on Friday, December 11, looking to get back in the win column. In a tough environment for any opposing team to play, the Lions did their best to keep up with the pace that McNairy empowered during the game. Ultimately, the Bobcats were too much for the Lions to handle and Scotts Hill fell, 65-55.
The first half was a back-and-forth game between the two foes. Scotts Hill was able to score 12 points in the first quarter, but McNairy Central countered with 16 points of their own. In the second quarter the Lions put up another 14 points, yet McNairy came away with 20 points in the quarter. At halftime, Scotts Hill trailed 26-36. In the third quarter, the Lions had much more success. They scored 14 more points and held McNairy to just 8 points in the quarter. The final quarter saw Scotts Hill score 15 points, but McNairy Central was too much as they scored 21 points to finish the game.
Leading in scoring for Scotts Hill was Riley McClain and Bryce Allard. Both players scored 14 points for the Lions. Zach Anglin and Luke Ledbetter scored…
