Lexington Falls Short Against Lady Cavaliers

In hope of rebounding from their opening game loss against McKenzie, the Lady Tigers basketball team hit the road on Saturday, November 21, 2020 to travel to Crockett County for a matchup against the Lady Cavaliers. In playing more of a complete game through four quarters, Lexington wasn’t able to come away with a win, but did build confidence moving forward with the season. The Lady Tigers were upset by Crockett County, 52-45.

Sarah Simmons was the leading scorer for the Lady Tigers in this game. She scored a total of 21 points in the contest. She was perfect from the foul line going 4 for 4, and also connected on a 3-pointer in the game. Makayla Herndon followed her with…
