Lady Tigers Open Season with Loss Against McKenzie

The Lexington High School Lady Tigers tipped off their season last Tuesday night, November 17, 2020. Lexington welcomed McKenzie High School to their home floor. In what could have been a runaway game for the Lady Rebels, Lexington, who was down 15 points at halftime, was able to claw their way back in the second half but unfortunately came up two points short. The Lady Tigers fell by a final score of 56-54.
The Lady Tigers opened the first quarter by scoring 12 points. They followed that with scoring 13 points in the second quarter. Lexington’s most productive quarter of the night came in the third, when the Lady Tigers were able to score 19 points. In the final quarter, Lexington scored 10 points against McKenzie.
