The special guest speaker for the November 24, 2020 Lexington Rotary Club was Rotarian David Beecham delivered the Thanksgiving address for the group. His father, Bishop Bobby Beecham, and David’s son Michael were also special guests.
“We’ve gotten into a traditional American way of doing things for Thanksgiving, watching football, overeating, and stretching our pants,” he said laughing, “but really it is the day we give thanks to God for our blessings, as individuals and as a country, and that should be part of what we do every day. We are told in the Word of God to give thanks,” Beecham said.
