Veterans Day is always at the same time each year – the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day, in the eleventh month, in commemoration of the signing of the armistice that ended World War I. In Henderson County, there were several events throughout the day, starting with a veterans drive through breakfast at Lexington Middle School that morning, and the Veterans Day Parade around court square at 10:00 a.m. At 11:00 a.m. the Veterans Honor Guard of Parkers Crossroads posted the colors to begin the ceremony at the Henderson County…
