First Baptist Holds Annual “Be the Light” Event
The First Baptist Church held their “Be The Light” Prayer event on November 15, 2020.

On Sunday night, November 15, 2020 First Baptist Church of Lexington held its annual “Be the Light” Prayer event at the Henderson County Courthouse. The church had five prayer stations around the courthouse square with focused prayer for a number of different areas related to our community. At prayer station 1, the church members prayed specifically for the diverse culture that we are seeing in our area and diverse people groups who are in Henderson County. At the second prayer station, members prayed for our schools, administrators, teachers, staff, and students throughout the county.
At the third prayer station, members prayed for our military, police, and fire personnel, as well as all first responders. Prayer station 4 was a focused prayer time asking God to…
