Scotts Hill Suffers Loss to Humboldt

The Lions from Scotts Hill High School were back in action last Friday night, October 23, 2020. Scotts Hill welcomed the Humboldt Vikings to Lion Stadium for the matchup. In a game that the weather was dreary and rainy, the Lions were not able to overcome the late push from Humboldt and fell to the Vikings, by a final score of 40-21.
Scotts Hill started the game by scoring first. They lead 7-0 before Humboldt scored and then went for the two-point conversion, which was successful. At the end of the first quarter Humboldt led 8-7. The Lions weren’t able to score in the second quarter and couldn’t keep the Vikings from the endzone. The halftime score was 14-7, in favor of Humboldt.
