Morgan Crook Receives Magpie Educator Status

Morgan Crook, of the Middlefork Community, recently became a credentialed with Magpie Beauty USA, after completing the program near Salt Lake City, Utah.

Morgan Crook often tells her family that she can’t draw a straight line, but she fell in love with her work as a nail tech. “I can’t draw on a piece of paper to save my life, but give me a nail and I can draw anything on it.” She’s been in the business for about eight years and enjoys her work station and companions at Salon West on West Church Street in Lexington.
Awhile back she became interested in the Magpie Beauty USA Education program, but it is only held twice a year….near Salt Lake City, Utah. She stayed in Layton, Utah while there. That’s a long way for a country girl. She and her parents, Steven and Lana Crook, are from Middlefork, and when asked if this was her first time to fly she exclaimed, “Oh my gosh yes, and I was so nervous!” she laughed, but the trip, the experience, and the opportunity were worth it.
