“We decided to move forward, in a limited way,” said Wayne Stanfill at the Saturday, September fundraiser for the Historic Doe Creek School and Cemetery. “Once you stop an event, it’s just hard to get the momentum back, and the community, the cemetery and the school still need the donations and support,” he said.
