LMS Minutemen Fall to Paris Inman

Last Thursday evening, the Lexington Middle School Minutemen Football team took to the field again. This time they went on the road to face off against Paris Inman. Paris Inman received the opening kickoff and put together a nice drive and scored to give Paris an 8-0 lead. LMS then took over and tried to get their running game going but came up short, after a failed pass from McDaniel to Bedwell on 4th down.

Paris Inman took advantage and struck quickly on the first play, going 45 yards for a score. The two-point conversion failed, making the score 14-0 at the time. The Minutemen then fumbled away their hope for a score to answer on the next possession.

Once again, Inman took advantage of the turnover and scored. Paris was unable to complete the two-point conversion again but lead 20-0. Inman’s defense, once again, stopped the Minutemen and forced a punt. Lexington Middle School Minutemen tried to…
