HCS Softball Now Sits At 4-2 on the Season

Henderson County South Softball started their week off by hosting Henderson County North on Tuesday, August 18. The team came up a bit short in the end, losing 5-1. HCS battled to the end on Thursday, August 20, when hosting Chester County. They pulled out a huge, 10-9, win in 6 innings. Holly Bartholomew was the winning pitcher with 4 strikeouts. At the plate, Beecham had 3 hits. Bartholomew, Horton, Bromley each had 2 hits, and Flowers had 1 hit. Beecham had 5 RBI, Broughton had 2 RBI and Bartholomew, Horton, and Bromley all had one RBI each. They played away against Camden, on Monday, August 24, losing the game and making their record 4-2, with one incomplete game. HCS continued play last night, at home, against Hardin County and will be away on Thursday, August 27 against Lexington Middle School. They will host TCA in a doubleheader on Monday, August 31.
