The Board of Education for the Lexington City School System met in a special called session on Wednesday evening, August 12, 2020. The meeting allowed participation in person, by call in and by video. Director of Schools, Cindy Olive, talked about the decision to continue a staggered schedule through August 31st, and that both the city and county school systems are working as closely together as possible to maintain a similar schedule.
